Description:
This is an excellently refurbished Marlin Model 92 22LR. Study the pitures carefully to see that there is no rust, ptting,or cracks, and only a small sliver missing on the forestock where it meets the receiver on the right side. The bore has been excellently relined with a Redmans liner and back bored for protetion of rifling. I have personally put a couple of bricks of ammo through it since relining. The patch box which I installed in the stock holds the peep sight discs when not in use. The action is smooth and tight, a pleasure to shoot with the trigger job I performed.. Accuracy is as good as any new Marlin lever action I have owned. Note that the checkering in the right side of the stock leaves a triangle at the receiver juntion for an owner's initials. The iron sights are original. No original finish, other than on the sights, remains on this specimen. All metal finish was applied to mimic an aged rifle. All parts of the gun are original with the exception of the Marbles tang sight and the patch box. The serial number is: A497x which according to Blue Book indiates 1892 manufacture.
