Description:
Winchester 70 SN# 64899. Built in 1947. Up for sale is a very clean post war Winchester Model 70 chambered for the popular .257 Roberts cartridge. This rifle was purchased from Mr. Ed Ulrich, a Winchester employee that I met in the early 70s. The rifle has the Lyman 48 WJS sight installed with a sight blank for the rear sight slot and also carries the blade front sight. The wood stock is all original with excellent finish and the rust blued metal maintains excellent color The rifle bore is clean and barrel rifling looks sharp. freight and insurance 45.00
