Description:
Serial #32484, .52 Spencer RF, 22" barrel with a very good bore that has mild pitting within the grooves. This is a US-inspected carbine that has matching numbers on the receiver and barrel, with an overall smooth plum-brown patina with some tiny specks of minor freckling and pinprick pitting scattered about. The walnut forend and buttstock have light-moderate bruises and handling marks throughout, as well as a faint cartouche still visible behind the sling bar. The magazine tube is in very good shape with a functional spring and follower and the mechanism is still tight and fully functional. This is an about good-very good Civil War Spencer overall.
