Smith & Wesson model 48 double action, swing-out cylinder revolver chambered in .22 Mag with a second factory cylinder chambered in .22 LR.
Made in 1960, the second year of production for the model 48, on a "4-screw" frame this 8 3/8" barreled M48 has many optional factory installed features:
"3 T's": wide Target Trigger, Target Hammer and Target Sights (white outline rear and inset red ramp front).
Second cylinder in .22 lr.
And, factory nickel finish, see the picture of the "boxed R-N" stamp on the left side of the grip frame.
The gun has been fired but it still retains 98%+ finishes.
