Springfield Armory® Standard M1A™ Semi-Auto Rifle is a direct descendant of one of the most respected, long-range battle rifles in the world: the M14 service rifle. The Standard M1A uses the same basic platform as the M14, without the selective fire switch. The 22\" barrel features 6-groove rifling with a 1 in 11\" twist. A M14 birdcage flash suppressor minimizes flash signature at night. The barrel, receiver and all steel parts are Parkerized, true to original form. The walnut stock features a non-reflective oil finish; and has a fold-out butt plate for accessory storage. The match front sight blade measures .062\", and the rear sight aperture measures .0690, and adjusts 1 MOA for windage and elevation. A 2-stage military trigger ensures reliable ignition under the most extreme conditions.
