Description:
1948 Marlin Waffle top 336 Lever-action chambered in 30.30 Caliber (1st Year Model) in very good condition. This 336SC (Sports Carbine) has a 20" Barrel JM Stamp, and a later style Butt Pad, the 336SC also has a shorter Magazine Tube. Stock is Walnut with a Gold medallian (Montana Territory). The Waffle Tops featured Ballard rifling, Bore is super clean. Also note the small white dot...that is referred to as the Marlin Bullseye. Some experts say the Marlin Bullseye helps a buyer recognize a Marlin in the Gun Rack at the Gun Store.$825.00 (includes shipping).
