"Serial No. 500561, made in 1942, 7.62x54R, 27.5" round barrel. Bore is bright with an area of frosting visible, rifling remains strong. Receiver is marked with Sako geared wheel/SK.Y/500561/1942. This rifle was one of the 10,500 rifles manufactured for the civil guard. Bolt has been forced matched and floor plate is non-matching. This rifle was put into a standard Russian Mosin Nagant stock. Action is tight and functions correctly.
