Wednesday May 21st, 1pm - 5pm Please note this is an advanced class for those who actively shoot sporting clays. This class will introduce the concept of FITASC, a shooting discipline which forms part of the “Federation Internationale de Tir Aux Sportives de Chasse” based in Paris. FITASC is the international form of Sporting Clays and enjoys a worldwide following. Many consider it to be the ultimate challenge in clay target shooting. Starting in the classroom, we will spend an hour reviewing the FITASC format, target setups and rules, as well as appropriate stance, mount and footwork. Then we will go out to the sporting clay course where target presentations will be designed for 2 FITASC layouts, with 25 targets each. After shooting, we’ll return to the Griffin & Howe Showroom for a Q&A session over drinks and appetizers. Instructors will review a summary of the day, provide a brief overview of individual progress, and offer recommendations on how to move forward. Requirements: Shotgun Shooting vest or jacket Eye and ear protection Baseball cap $575 per person (plus applicable NJ sales tax). All cartridges, clays, drinks and appetizers are included. Dress code: no t-shirts, blue jeans or open-toed shoes please. Cancellation Policy: Must contact us to cancel 10 days prior to class to receive full refund, or 72 hours prior to class to receive a 50% refund (minus credit card processing fees and applicable NJ sales tax). Any cancellations made less than 72 hours before the class date cannot be refunded.
