Description:
This is an old West cartridge belt that goes with a Single Action Army and a Winchester rifle. The Single Action loops appear to be for the 38/40 caliber and the rifle loops fit the 30/30. The 30/30 ammo was introduced in 1895 by John Browning for the Winchester rifle. This belt measures very close to 37 inches from end to end. The width is approximately 2 3/4 inches. The leather on the belt is very weathered, but the stitching on the bullet loops is very solid. Most of the antique ammo belts wore out long before the holsters did so this is a very good find. A great Single Action and Winchester collectible.
