Description:
Vintage Western Cutlery Co, hunting knife. WESTERN BOULDER,COLO PAT'D IN USA stamped on one side of the blade and 666 stamped on the other. The blade is high quality stainless steel with an aluminum cap and brass guard. The handle is the stag pattern made from Dupont Kerlin, a rugged material that replaced the leather wraped handles in the early 1960s. The sheath is leather with an acorn pattern with a leather laced edge. These sheathes were later replaced with molded plain leather with riveted seams. This knife is in good condition for its age and use. I aquired this knife new in 1963 or 1964 when I was in high school. One owner. I quit hunting 15 years ago and downsizing. This is a rugged knife that has stood the test of time with many more years of use or a collectable.
