Description:
A very well done upgrade. Marked on the inside of the watertable is "Optimus". Features 28 inch barrels with excellent bores. Barrels retain most all the blue. Marked on top in gold is "Lefever Arms Co." on one side and on the other " Whitworth Fluid Steel". Beautifully done and inlaid script gold on the side plates are "Lefever Arms Co." and an oval with a gold inlaid Pointer on the left and a Setter on the right. On top of the opening lever is a gold quail in flight. Gun retains most of the bright case hardening. European walnut stocks are fine with sharp checkering. LOP 14-1/8 inches DAC 2 inches DAH 3-3/8 inches. A very light 10 Gauge weighing in at only 8 pounds 6 ounces. The gun has all matching numbers in the 11k serial range. Gun is in just beautiful condition.
