For sale, is an excellent example of a scarce fighting knife made by Nugyen Dan of Nah Trang, Vietnam. Nugyen was a master knife maker and made many knives for US servicemen who were deployed and stationed in Vietnam. Water buffalo horn grip and classic Nugyen design.
Dan knives were popular among MACV-SOG members. The sheath is initiated with the previous owners name along with location and years. "BMT - CAMBODIA - 69-71.
If you are a serious fighting knife collector, you will appreciate this knife. Well known in the collecting community. See pictures for condition. Hilt has a small amount of play. One sheath rivet is seperated.
