EARLY 1st year (1955) Model 88 in .308 Win. VERY NICE Condition. 22" barrel with bore like new. Front sight hood is missing. I believe this piece was fired very little. Original finish. Metal is 99%. Wood would rate about 97% if not for a 2.5" Rub impression on upper right side of buttstock, so I am rating it 95%. Checkering is wonderfully sharp with no dings. It comes with 2 Magazines. It also comes with a Weaver base and rings. This early 88 is in great condition with hardly any use but picked up that one unfortunate mar on stock. Price is reflectant of that also.
