Description:
Colt Bisley 5 1/2" 38-40. Made 1911. Excellent like new solid action with solid notches. Dark blue and some color case hardening. Excellent bright bore. Great vintage jigged bone grips. Excellent sharp, clear markings. Front bead sight fits over top of and attaches to the original sight. The sight is marked Stuart on one side, Pat. Apr. 1 1914 on the other side. Stuart was a Texas gunsmith who died in the early 1900s. This sight was probably put on the gun early in it's life. Insured shipping $50. FFL required. Any questions email me.
