Description:
This rifle retains 35% receiver blue and the mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The bore is very good with strong rifling. It fired the 44 Evans 100 or 1” cartridge. The barrel is 28” long and the barrel address is sharp and crisp. The serial number on the barrel flat is 1362. Merwin, Hulbert & Co. was also involved in the sales of the Evan’s rifles and was the main distributor of Hopkins & Allen revolvers.
