Description:
Winchester Model 1886 Lever Action Short Rifle shortened to 22”Oct barrel, 45-90 Cal , Bore Exc, Mech Exc, Wood Exc but is new wood,fits well. Has a ¾ magazine tube. The barrel has excellent address and cal markings 45-90 W.C.F. The Receiver has the Model 1886 marking on the top tang and the lower tang has the serial #7689 mfg'd 1890 and patent dates. The receiver also has traces of case coloring in protected areas mostly case color turning nickel finish . The bolt has original blue finish. The barrel and mag tube have an aged grey brown patina finish and traces of fine pitting.
