Description: This Charles Ingram back action rebounding hammer gun from Glasgow Scotland, was constructed in 1880, so no FFL is required to purchase it. The original damascus barrels are no longer, having been sleeved with modern steel for many more years of service. Its action is rounded, similar to a John Dickson, with the working mechanisms distributed between the hands, resulting in a well-balanced, quick-handling gun. The engraving pattern of floral and scroll covers about 50% of the metal surfaces. It has a straight hand stock of fancy English walnut and an inlet horn butt plate. The stock has a small crack at hand that has been expertly repaired and is barely noticeable. The forend sports a Deeley and Edge latch and an ebony finial. The barrels have lifters, and weigh in at 3# 6 ounces, are bright and shiny and ring like bells. Overall, this gun is in good+ condition and has been a pleasure to own and shoot.
