Description:
32-1/2 inch round barrel shortened from 36 inches that is chambered in 50-70 caliber. Very good bore with strong rifling. Metal has toned to a gray color after being lightly cleaned long ago. All markings are crisp and correct with a 1864 dated lockplate. Wood has a few dings and handling mars but retains most original finish. There is a clear "ESA" cartouche on the left and an "E" rear of the trigger guard. Action is crisp and strong. Original sights and cleaning rod.
