Description:
For your consideration, a custom Mauser 98 action sporter chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum by Ludwig Borovnik. of Austria. The receiver, bottom metal, barrel breech, grip cap, cartridge trap, and butter knife bolt handle are all engraved with arabesque scrollwork, and the floorplate, trigger guard, and cartridge trapdoor feature raised silver stags, a bear, and monogram of a previous owner. With its exaggerated schnabel forend tip, fish scale checkering, and beaded, angular cheekpiece, the stock is unmistakably Austrian in style. Additional features include claw scope bases, a tang-mounted, 2-position safety, and jeweling on the bolt stop and magazine follower. 7mm Remington Magnum
