For your consideration, the Zastava (Factory 44) M48A bolt-action rifle chambered in 7.92x57mm (8mm Mauser). A blend of the Belgian M24 and German Kar 98k, the M48 was a post World War 2 Yugoslav rifle that served as their standard army rifle in the 1950s. The M48A version was produced from 1952-1965. Serials are matching. 7.92x57mm
