Description:
Offered is a Colt 2nd Model Woodsman Match Target with King Super Target full rib. The gun is chambered in .22 Long Rifle and has a wrap around set of Lew Sanderson target grips. The grips have the thumb rest (See Pictures # 7 & # 18). The right grip has the palm swell (See Pictures # 4 & #6 & # 9). The front sight has the King mirror inset behind the sight blade (See Picture #11). The gun has the side button on the left side for easy removal of the magazine (See Picture # 13). I have owned all three series of the Woodsman Match Target and this is by far my favorite. The 6” length barrel balances correctly, has an easy magazine removal system and is amazingly accurate. This gun was manufactured in 1953 and remains in excellent condition. Also included is a Colt brochure from this time period showing the 2nd Model Match Target Woodsman. No chips or cracks in the grips, the bore is excellent and the gun is mechanically perfect. I offer a three-day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $65 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information. Please see my other collectible firearms that I have listed.
