Description:
If you are an early Winchester lever gun collector, this one checks off a bunch of the boxes. The serial number puts this one to 1915 if my online search is accurate. It is a true short rifle with a 20 inch barrel. The handguard measures 8.5 inches The shotgun butt with pistol grip stock along with the short rifle configuration puts this one in the rare category. The caliber is 30 wcf and the bore is good.
I have not fired this weapon, but it appears to function fine. Condition as pictured.
