Description:
This Remington 700 is chambered in 8mm Remington Magnum and features a blued barreled action and a wooden stock. The barrel is drilled and tapped for the addition of iron sights while the receiver is fitted with Redfield Standard mounts (compatible with Leupold STD rings). This rifle has seen use and shows some scuffs here and there, but it is fully functional and ready for your next big hunt. This is your opportunity to own a rifle that few others will have. The 8mm Rem Mag Model 700 was produced between 1977 and 2020 and has enough power to take even the biggest game in North America and most medium and large game in Africa (excluding dangerous game). Based on the powerful .375 H&H Magnum, it sends a 200 grain projectile at over 3000 fps, and loadings range from 180 grain to 220 grain, bringing a level of versatility not often seen in long action magnum rifles. With an overall cartridge length of 3.6 inches, this action is slightly longer than the standard Model 700 Long Action to accommodate the caliber. 8mm Remington Magnum
