Description:
Winchester Model 97 Shotgun 12 gauge. Takedown model, visible hammer, and a plain pistol grip stock. The stock and forearm have been replaced with new wood some time ago. The hammer has a chip broken off the rear. The barrel has been cut off to 20” long and that gives it a cylinder bore. There is an indentation in the bottom of the barrel to the rear of the barrel band. Also, there is a lot of pitting in the barrel. The shotgun does shoot and function. See photos for metal condition. Serial number 737054 was made in 1923. $495.00 plus shipping.
