Description:
Luger 1914 Military model produced by DWM. This pistol has the Prussian Eagle stamped on the front of the trigger guard. That was most often used as an Erfurt proof and is very rare to find as only seven Lugers have been reported with such markings. This was done to identify Imperial property and prevent its theft and is mostly confined to later wartime produced pistols. There have been four styles of eagles that have been identified and more probably exist. All exposed s/n match. The magazine s/n does not match the pistol. Finish is very good showing wear in areas consistent with holster use. Leather Reichs Revolver conversion Luger holster included. This is the 2nd variation with flap covering the magazine pouch and it is a scarce holster to find. Two magazines included. 9mm Parabellum
