William Smith, 7 bore percussion fowling gun with a 35" barrel. Muzzle measures .890. Excellent bore that I would rate a "8" on a one to ten scale. Damascus barrel has original nut brown finish. Lock is typical for time period with a half and full cock and is fully functional with an excellent trigger pull. Gun was restocked with great craftsmanship exhibiting good wood to metal fit throughout. No checkering. Excellent stock dimensions with a LOP of 13 7/8". Drop at comb is 1 1/4". Drop at heel is 1 7/8". Weight of the gun is 7 LBS 8 1/4 OZ. William Smith was a recognized maker in Bermingham, England. This gun is ready for use!
