Mauser byf K98 Karabiner. Non-matching, 44 dated carbine shows scattered dings and scratches, B428 stamped on the left buttstock. Metal offers a mostly mottled, dark gray appearance. Good proofs and numbers, Waffen proofs on the left , byf 44 and eagle over 135 on the top of receiver. Dark bore shows fair rifling. 8mm Mauser
