Description:
This is an extra nice Remington Model 31 12 gauge with two barrels. A 28 inch modified choke plain barrel and a 26 inch solid rib improved cylinder. The 28 inch mod is the original barrel matching the serial number and the 26 solid rib in improved cylinder has been professionally fitted to the gun. The gun itself and the extra barrel are in beautiful condition. All original condition with no stocks cracks. I do not know where this little gem has been hiding for nearly 80 years to stay in this condition. This gun was made in 1949 and has to be in one of the latest ever made.This series, know as the "41 series",was made with the best trigger of the three model 31 series. The other models had a lift trigger that just did not work out that well. If you are after a model 31 do not miss this one! I will only ship this gun via Registered Mail at USPS.
