I've seen a lot of Smiths but I hadn't even heard of this one until it came in the shop. It is documented in the S&W 4th edition book, Product code 103654 with a "RMH" Alpha serial prefix. This run was made for Gart Brothers Sports in Colorado back in 1996. It's a 629-4 "Rocky Mountain Hunter" Classic series with a 6.5" full lug barrel, unfluted cylinder and FCATORY Mag-Na-Porting. It features a bull elk on the sideplate. This is #238 of 300 ever made. The gun is in fantastic condition showing very little signs of use. Perfecting timing each hole and tight lockup. Super cool rare revolver. No box/case or docs.
