Description:
The Trooper series was intended to mimic the Python, but at a lower price point and so appeal to law enforcement and security personnel in need of a dependable, easy to carry sidearm. The pistol itself is similar to the S&W's Model 28 in size, with a little less weight. This one is the MKV version which incorporated some of the features in the Python including a ventilated rib barrel. The four-inch barrel is an easy carry when in a vehicle or at a desk, the grips are hand-filling, and the trigger is grooved and wide. The hammer spur is wide and knurled.
