Manufactured in 2013, this exquisite pigeon gun features a detachable trigger group action with a single non-selective trigger, automatic ejectors, and Perazzi’s legendary strength and precision. The 29.5-inch barrels are choked Modified and Full, making it a formidable choice for live pigeon shooting, Helice, or high-level competition.
This shotgun is in excellent condition, showing only faint wear consistent with light use. The bores are pristine, the action locks up rock-solid, and the crisp trigger ensures precision shooting. All parts are serial number-matched, reflecting Perazzi’s meticulous attention to detail. The ejectors are strong and perfectly timed, ensuring flawless cycling.
What truly sets this DC12 SCO apart is its breathtaking engraving by Fausto Galeazzi, Brother of the renowned engraver Angelo Galeazzi. The left side of the action (#22) showcases four ducks in flight over wetlands, the bottom (#131) features a detailed game scene with a dog holding a duck, and the right side (#63) displays six ducks taking off from a marsh. The entire action is adorned with intricate scroll and floral engraving, including a fully engraved and pierced top lever—hallmarks of elite Perazzi artistry.
Complementing this masterpiece is an exhibition-grade walnut stock with a pistol grip and a left-hand palm swell, perfectly cast-on 3/8” for a left-handed shooter. The semi-beavertail forend currently installed features a gold inlaid pigeon, while an additional Perazzi custom beavertail forend (valued at $800) is included.
