Rare Vietnam Presentation Springfield 1903 Mark 1 rifle ! Serial number 1167735. Presented to General Ormond R. Simpson from his men in Company K3/7 ! General Simpson led his men through one of the most bloodiest battles in the Vietnam War " Oklahoma Hills " . The Springfield model 1903 is in overall excellent condition with the metal being a little ruff from bad storage here in Florida . The original wood is very good condition. With a plaque on one side of the stock . Bore and mechanics are in very good condition. Gun is in excellent working condition. Throat reads a 1 .
