*Very nice S&W 38 Single Action 2nd Model with 4” barrel. Serial number 88750. Manufactured in 1888. *Included 1888 Silver Dollar with gun. Metal surfaces are smooth overall with approximately 85% blueing. Has beautifully fit period mother of pearl grips with 3 very small blemishes on right side/butt. The grips have aged tan/brown patina along some edges. Bore shines with defined lands & grooves with some very slight corrosive pits. Action has tight lock up. Fladermans last print, 9th edition (18 years ago) has top value of 475.00. In addition he states blued examples will bring premium price. Also, 4” barrel brings 10% premium.
