Description:
General Specs: Perazzi, 1997, .410 Bore, 5lbs. 10oz., Chokes M/F, LOP 14 1/16", DAH 1 7/8", DAC 1 3/8"
Serial Number:  98779

The Perazzi over/under has earned its place in history as one of the most respected shotguns in modern times.  Seen at the top competitions world-wide and walking the finest game fields on the planet, there are no other makers that can hold a candle to the Perazzi over/under design.  Perazzi has won more international tournaments than all the other makers combined.  This delightful Perazzi MX .410 bore was made for hunting game or breaking clays with its petite English grip, slender field style forend, and dynamic, fast handling characteristics.  Perazzi is known for its receiver being very shallow making the gun sleek and easy on the eye, and the MX410 is built on a scaled “baby frame” making it look almost like a miniature Perazzi.  This little gun has the best upgraded, highly figured European walnut I have seen on a Standard model field gun…it is breathtaking figure that we all love as gun nuts.  Built in 1997, this 5lb. 10oz gun is still in 99% factory new condition and balances dead on the hinge pin making it a delight in hand.  The 26” barrels have perfect mirror bores, 3” chambers, and are choked M/F which are preferred chokes for taking game with the ¾ ounce load.  With the availability of the new SUPER TUNGSTEN heavy shot, the .410 has a notable increase in lethality in the field.  How much fun would it be carrying such a sleek and light .410 in the field after woodcock, snipe, quail, or doves?  Expert shots will even go after larger game birds with the little .410.  The barrels are tight on the hinge and breech face and the top lever is well right of center.  The gun has seen little use.  The gun has a 14 1/16” LOP to a checkered butt.  My gunsmithing staff can elegantly lengthen the LOP by the addition of a fine pigskin Purdey style leather covered pad that we can install within a few days of payment.  A 5/8” thick pad will not look bulky on this little gun and is a graceful way to extend the LOP.  I do not see any English stocked guns for sale and the gun is a racy looking gun as configured.  New, these guns cost over $23000.  This gun is as new and priced to sell.  The wood upgrade had to be several thousand dollars… Specifications are below.  Thanks for looking!
