Perfect new Purdey barrels, 2 ½” chambers, automatic safety with gold inlay safe, simply superb, the highest quality English miniature rose and scroll engraving. Beautiful color case hardening that is near perfect. Double trigger, straight grip, checkered butt, vacant gold oval, screws are perfect and flawless as well as the engraving. Fire blue trigger, Purdey rib. Perfect drop point stock with no excuses, checkering is flawless. They say the gun is extremely tight, ejectors are perfect, classic game gun in the most sought after configuration. Perfect bore diameters, flawless barrels. In its original oak and leather Purdey case that is worn, with Purdey accessories. Just an overall wonderful gun, indistinguishable from a new gun, completely gone over in London, England. Warrantied for life to the original owner courtesy of Connecticut Shotgun.
