H&R .32 S&W Double Action Top Break 1st Model Revolver. This is a very rare 1st model, 2nd variation, produced from 1888-1897. Serial #302

ANTIQUE H&R 1st model 2nd variation Revolver 6 shot .32 S&W
Nickel finish 6 shot in .32 S&W. Trigger guard attached with thru pin in the rear and a screw in the front. Pull pin cylinder. Hard rubber grips.
These were made for black powder cartridges.

Condition: 2 ½” octagon barrel with a lightly frosted bore , very minor pitting from black powder use and still showing very nice rifling.
The metal surfaces are still in good condition with most of the original nickel faded away with some very light freckling and pin-prick pitting in spots probably from staorage. Please judge from the photos. The original Hard rubber checkered grips rate excellent. Lock-up and timing appear to be good. Mechanically works very well in single and double action with a strong hammer spring.
