The Smith & Wesson .32 Hammerless 1st model Top Break Revolver was a popular firearm manufactured by the Smith & Wesson company from 1888 to 1902. The serial number 57967 indicates that this particular revolver was made during this time period around 1895 It is chambered in .32 caliber and has a 5-shot cylinder. Condition: 3” barrel with a near excellent bore showing a few scattered oxidation stains and pinprick pits. Still showing very strong rifling. The nickel finish on the metal surfaces of the gun remains intact, with about 95% of the original plate still present. There is some edge wear and scattered oxidation stains, a little freckling but these do not detract from the overall appearance of the gun. The grips on this revolver are in excellent condition. The trigger retains strong case-hardened color on the sides. All appropriate parts are correctly numbered to the gun, and it functions mechanically with correct timing and lock-up. The barrel-to-frame fit remains tight, indicating that the gun has been well-cared for over the years.
