Personal/Business checks with a few extra days for “collected funds” Description: L C Smith Field Grade 12 gauge SxS shotgun made in early 1920. The gun is configured with 32” barrels chambered for 2 3/4” shells and chokes XF/XF (.040”/.040”), .728” bores with double triggers, automatic safety and automatic ejectors. Also it has a straight grip stock and splinter forearm. The stock dimensions are 13 ½” LOP from the rear trigger (14 3/8” from the front trigger); 1 ½” DAC and 1 5/8” DAH with neutral cast. These are trap dimensions. The buttplate says: The L C Smith Trap Gun and with the way the buttplate has been fitted I believe that the stock was shortened and the buttplate re-fitted. This gun was originally ordered by and shipped to R. S. Elliott Hdwe & Guns in Kansas City, MO and the gun is still in Kansas City today. Condition wise the locks have noticeable but faded colors, the bottom of the frame has even less visible colors. The barrel blue is all there but faded. The stock and forearm checkering is there but smooth and a coat of varnish had been applied some time ago. On the bottom of the stock, both left and right there have been repairs.
