Description:
Very nice M1943 Spanish Mauser short rifle. This rifle is essentially a Spanish variant of the venerable K98k, and a replacement of the previous M1916 short rifle. Chambered in 7.92 Mauser (8mm Mauser), this rifle has a 23.6" barrel with a decent bore. The bore finish is a little dull, but the rifling is strong and it appears to be free of any pitting. This rifle is dated 1946 and is all numbers matching. There are minor dings and dents throughout typicial of a 79 year old rifle. Otherwise very good condition. This rifle appears to retain some kind of import sticker from Interarms. Serial number C7696
