Description:
Eddystone Model 1917 "Enfield" chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The official name of this rifle is "United States Rifle, cal .30, Model of 1917". The rifle was manufactured in 1917-18 and is based on the British Pattern 1914 Enfield (P14) rifle. The Enfield was used alongside the 1903 Springfield by the American Expeditionary Forces in Europe during World War I. It was issued to rear-echelon troops during WWII. The barrel is dated 9-18. Slightly frosty bore with strong rifling. No box. .30-06 Springfield
