Description:
This beautiful Ethan Allen style bench rifle may have started with a Mowrey receiver, but not marjed as such. It has a custom .50 32x1 barrel with 1:66 twist. Pristine bore. I don't believe it has been fired. Only markings are .50 and 106. There are no barrel sights but an empty dovetail for front sight is present. The receiver has two screws for mounting a tang sight. Side of receiver lightly engraved HOWARD MORTON. The stock is fancy Tiger Maple. It has a Swiss buttplate and triggerguard. Single trigger. LOP is. Rifle is topped with a bright and shiny brass NAVY ARMS/TASCO 4X scope with clear optics. Other than some minor handling marks, this rifle is as new. Weighs 12.4 lbs. Obviously built for serious shooting, it appears that it never got the chance. $1300 + Shipping.
