Description:
One of the highest (if not the highest) serial number Parker's I've examined and handled. Gun made on a "0" frame with original length 25" ventilated rib barrels, beavertail forend, double triggers, auto ejectors and non-auto safety. The frame is beautifully case hardened and engraved in very late Remington production pattern with pheasant on trigger plate. Nicely figured straight grip buttstock terminates with its blued and engraved skeleton buttplate.
The gun remains in superb overall condition. I believe the gun was started at the very tail end of production and completed by Runge right after the war. It retains nearly all of these post production factory finishes throughout with a very minor old repair to the forend at the breech end which is near invisible. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are perfect.
