This is a used item. While we do not test fire our used firearms, we perform an inspection and function check. This particular P38 should be inspected by a gunsmith prior to being fired. Of note, the top "firing pin cover" is bent upwards, the de-cocker does not function and, when the hammer is cocked to the rear and the safety engaged, the firearm will fire when the trigger is pulled.
