I have for sale a rather unique L.C. Smith Ideal Grade Featherweight Special which is fully optioned. When I say fully optioned I'm saying it has a straight English buttstock, a slim beavertail forend, single selective trigger, and selective ejectors! You just can't put any other options on an Ideal grade!. Barrels are the original 30 inches with both bores measuring .729 and having .022 constriction in the right barrel for modified and .033 in the left for full chokes. Bores are in wonderul condition and chambers are 2 3/4 inches. Lockup is nice and tight with barrels firmly on the face of the receiver and the top lever slightly right of center. Straight English butt stock has measurements of 1 1/2 X 2 1/2 X 14 5/16 over a 1/2 inch Kick EEZ pad so it would be a simple matter to add a 1 inch pad to give you a LOP of 14 13/16. Cast of the stock is neutral so it will work for either a right or left hand shooter. Weight of the gun is 7 pounds 10 ounces. Overall condition is excellent as the pictures will show you with great original case coloring and barrel blue. The only flaws I see in the gun are the normal LC Smith crack running off the back end of the left lock plate, and a small chip out of the right side of the the forend. Both of these can easily be seen in the attached pictures. Price of this very unique gun is $2000 plus $50 shipping to your FFL. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period with buyer paying shipping charges if returned. This would be a difficult gun to duplicate in this condition with these options.
