Description:
"Serial number 214086. Made in 1903, .44 W.C.F. (.44-40 Winchester) with a 20-inch round barrel and a 38-inch overall length. Bore is bright with strong visible rifling but there is frosting between the grooves. Extensive oxidation is present on the receiver, barrel, magazine tube and lever. Wood forearm is in good condition but the buttstock is slightly bleached from sun exposure although there are no cracks in it. Original factory tangent rear sight assembly is present although the retaining screw is missing. The saddle ring is also missing although the mounting loop remains attached to the receiver.
