Description:
Serial #39379, .45 Colt, 5 1/2" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some traces of freckling within the grooves. This is a 1911-made, "RAC" inspected revolver that retains 75-80% of a original looking dull blue re-finish with silvering at the muzzle, gray fading along the high edges and projections, as well as some patches of thin freckling along the sides of the barrel. All markings are clear and legible, and much of the original bright fire blue remains on the trigger and hammer, although there is some dark freckling on the sides of the hammer spur. The walnut grips are in good-very good shape with minor handling marks and blemishes on either side. The lock-up is still tight and the action functions smoothly in both single and double-action. This is a great looking US Model 1909 Army revolver, and is in very good-near fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
