Description:
Type 99 Arisaka Japanese rifle. This is a late war example as indicated by the fixed sights, wooden butt plate, and overall rough finish. The Mum is still intact on the receiver. Kokura arsenal, 25th series, matching bolt, however it is missing the firing pin assembly (pin, spring, and safety knob). 26" barrel with a good bore. Strong rifling, just a dull finish. Good condition otherwise. Serial number 72814
