"Serial number 453. Made circa 1899 -1900. 7.8 mm Bergman caliber with a 13.75" barrel. This gun is in excellent condition with 85%-90% of the original blue. The top of the bolt is marked “Karabiner Bergmann/Patent Brevette S.D.G.D." The grips are excellent. When the stock is off, there is discoloration on the majority of the grips while the stock protected the part that it covered. The stock is an expertly made reproduction that was copied from an original. It is completely perfect in everyway and frankly it is undetectable. The gun is all matching including the stock. This is an incredible rare gun in the carbine length with the stock. These do not surface.
