Fine Classic Ruger Speed Six Powerful .357 Revolver
Offered here for sale and just acquired just a few steps away from the Ruger factory right here in Southport, Ct is this sleek and powerful short-barreled .357 revolver. The Ruger Speed Six was a double-action revolver produced from the 1970s to the late 1980s. It was designed for law enforcement, military, and civilian self-defense use. The Speed Six was a more compact and rounded version of the Ruger Security Six, featuring a fixed sight design and a rounded grip frame.

  • Construction: Stainless steel (also available in blued finish).
  • Barrel Length: Typically 2.75 inches. This specimen is 3".

The stainless steel version was highly resistant to corrosion, making it a favorite for police officers and outdoor use.It was designed with a round-butt grip, unlike the Security Six and Service Six, making it more comfortable. This specimen, serial number 162-22162 is all original and in excellent condition. It's barrel measures out to 3".  It shows very little if any use and just a slight cylinder turn mark.
The Ruger Speed Six has become a sought-after collector’s item, particularly in stainless steel.
