.41rf, short, #4106, 2 1/2 inch barrel blue and nickel finish, steel frame, 2 piece walnut grips, marked "SOUTHERNER" on top barrel flat, "BROWN MF'G Co/NEWBURYPORT, MASS./APRIL 9 1867", circa 1870's.
Condition: very good bore with strong rifling, 80% blue on barrel darkening, 95% dusky nickel on frame, very good grips, excellent mechanically, excellent marks.
